Ok - so we all love to be in the backcountry, and we all love to minimize our impact on Mother Nature. But - we also realize - that when you gotta go, well - you gotta go. Yeah - could could frantically search around for a stick or a rock - but come on - we aren't barbarians! Assuming you aren't in a area where you have to pack it out - then you need to be digging yourself a cathole. So yeah - you need to get an iPood! (insert childish joke here). At a scant 3.5 oz, packable into its own stuff sack - and sporting a hard anodized (Rockwell HRC70) blade - you can dig to your hearts delight! This bad boy even sports a hollow handle where you can store TP, hand sanitizer, or a lighter. Available in 4 fun colors - blue, orange, yellow and green! Get one for each family memeber - and never have that embarrasing situation of using someone elses - um - trowel. Oh - and the answer to the age old question is yes - bears in the woods do use these - they just dig bigger holes.

Why Dynamic Earth Exists

There is an overwelming need within all of us to experience new things. To immerse ourselves in new experience and find our self and soul a bit better becasue of it. We find that being outside, and immersed in the natural world is a way of doing that. In many ways, nature is a playground for man and not nearly a template for industry and further developement. Many people find it hard to achieve this immersion in nature due to a lack of knowledge, direction, or supplies. We exist to fill this void.
