Arc'teryx Celeris

For all my Ultralight friends - I have found you a new jacket! Weighing in at a scant 4.3 oz, and packable down to almost nothing - this will quickly become a favorite layering piece - and likely stored on the outside pocket of your pack for stops at the summit. We held it under the water fountain, when we got it in - and simply could not get it to wet out! (we did make a mess on the floor though!). I tried running in it as well - but since its not a membrane - the moisture that doesn't get in - also doesn't get out - so run in something else. I have worn it around town when its windy but not super cold - easily layering a couple pieces of Icebreaker underneath it, and just for kicks - I was able to get my Arc'Teryx Delta SV fleece under for warmth and wind cutting ability. This has also quickly become my favorite around camp piece - I throw a Western Mountaineering Flash vest under it at 3 oz - and now have warmth and wind stopping ability for a total of 7.3 oz!!! Yep - you need one.
